A Bit About Me

I am an experienced airline captain and instructor with more than four decades in commercial aviation and over 22,000 total flight hours, including 18,000 hours as Pilot in Command on the Boeing 737 family (300–900). My career has spanned multiple major airlines and business aviation operations, giving me broad exposure to both airline and corporate flight environments.

I hold JAA and EASA ATPL licenses and am qualified as a TRI/TRE on the Boeing 737, with extensive experience in simulator and aircraft training, checking, and crew development. Over the years, I have accumulated more than 3,400 hours of training and checking experience, supporting pilots through type ratings, line training, and recurrent evaluations.

My professional background includes long-term command roles at Turkish Airlines, Ryanair, Pegasus Airlines, and most recently Luxaviation, where I operated the Embraer 135 business jet. This mix of airline and business aviation has shaped a practical, safety-focused, and mentorship-driven approach to flying.

As a mentor pilot, I focus on helping pilots develop strong technical foundations, sound decision-making, and professional cockpit discipline. I place particular emphasis on SOP understanding, CRM, command mindset, and preparing pilots for the real-world demands of airline and corporate operations.

I am fluent in Turkish, English, and German, and I remain actively engaged in aviation training and mentoring, supporting pilots at all stages of their careers.
