Course Details
The ATPL Operational Procedures (OP) course provides a structured, regulation-based understanding of how airline operations are conducted safely, legally, and consistently under EASA rules. It translates regulations, SOPs, and operational policies into practical pilot decision-making—bridging the gap between law, procedures, and real cockpit operations. Operational Procedures is the subject that explains why airlines do what they do: why certain fuel minima exist, why alternates are selected a certain way, why cabin crew coordination matters, and why abnormal and emergency procedures follow strict priorities. This course builds the operational mindset expected of a professional airline pilot. This course is ideal for: ✈️ ATPL(A) students (Integrated or Modular) 🧑✈️ CPL/IR holders progressing toward ATPL 🛫 Airline cadets preparing for SOP-driven airline environments 🎓 Pilots who want operational clarity—not regulation memorisation By the end of this course, you will be able to: Apply EASA operational rules to real flight scenarios Understand the logic behind airline SOPs and standardisation Make correct decisions during abnormal and emergency situations Interpret ATPL questions using operational priority and intent Understand the roles and coordination of flight crew and cabin crew Apply correct procedures for ground, flight, and post-flight operations
