The Refresher & Familiarisation Program is designed for both licensed pilots and student pilots who want to sharpen their skills, update their knowledge, or regain confidence after a period away from flying. It provides a structured pathway to review essential theory and practice, ensuring safety, competence, and regulatory compliance. For Experienced Pilots: Brush up on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and checklist discipline. Review abnormal and emergency handling through simulator-based training. Update knowledge on new regulations, airspace changes, and avionics upgrades. Familiarisation with a new type of aircraft or variant before commencing formal type rating training. Ideal for pilots returning to line flying after an absence. For Student Pilots: Reinforce theoretical knowledge (navigation, meteorology, air law). Practice basic flying skills in the simulator or aircraft with instructor feedback. Step-by-step confidence building for students who need extra time or had training interruptions. Prepare for upcoming skill tests or checkrides with targeted review. Training Approach: Customisable programs tailored to your needs (short courses, simulator sessions, ground school refreshers). Combination of classroom/virtual learning + practical simulator sessions. Progress tracked through Pilotium’s AI Coach, with daily objectives and feedback. Outcome: Whether you are a seasoned captain returning to the cockpit or a student pilot preparing for your next checkride, this training ensures you are current, confident, and competent. How pricing and booking work: A 2-hour FTD (flight training device) session with an instructor is €900. Full flight simulator sessions and multi-session programs are quoted individually. The date you select is your preferred date. Our team confirms your session time and venue within 48 hours, then sends you an invoice.
